About The Position

The Desktop Support/Field Support role is focused on providing technical assistance and support for desktop and field operations, primarily involving Windows OS, Office 365, and mobile device management. The position requires hands-on experience with imaging, installation, and configuration of operating systems, as well as troubleshooting various software and hardware issues. The role is essential for ensuring smooth operations and support for users in a corporate environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS imaging, installation, and configuration.
  • Knowledge of Exchange Online and Office 365 administration.
  • Experience with Skype for Business operational support.
  • Familiarity with OneDrive access and storage issues.
  • Experience with Windows 10 automated deployments and remediation of deployment failures.
  • Knowledge of Intune/Mobile Device Management for Android/iOS devices.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management processes.
  • Basic understanding of SCCM activities, group policy, and Active Directory.
  • Ability to provide break-fix support and maintain asset inventory.

  • Experience with ServiceNow for IT service management.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows OS imaging, installation, and configuration.
  • Handle Exchange Online, Office 365 Administration, and related issues.
  • Support Skype for Business operational issues including installation, configuration, and deployment failures.
  • Assist with point templates, site creations, and access-related issues for migrated sites.
  • Support OneDrive access and storage-related issues.
  • Coordinate and support Windows 10 automated deployments, ensuring successful execution and remediation of failed deployments.
  • Handle hardware/software requests from dedicated locations.
  • Manage Intune/Mobile Device Management and enroll BYOD devices, including Android/iOS.
  • Provide support for roaming users to connect securely from various locations.
  • Handle secure wipe and asset disposal processes as per agreed protocols.
  • Understand IT Service Management processes and basic SCCM activities.
  • Provide break-fix support as necessary.
  • Maintain asset inventory of existing devices and buffer stock.
  • Support network, storage, and server-related activities on-site as required.
  • Understand and utilize ServiceNow for support processes.
