About The Position

We currently have an opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer (Helpdesk). This position will be filled in our Minneapolis location. The salary range for the position is $50,000 - $65,000, based on years of experience. Summary of Position (hybrid): This position is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting company technologies supporting end users which involve PC hardware and software and their respective management systems. This position includes in-office responsibilities and requires attendance at the physical office location.

Requirements

  • One to four years experience supporting desktops & laptop computers on a Windows Active Directory Domain or Azure Entra ID environment.
  • One to three years of relevant experience in an enterprise environment working with Tier II hardware
  • Working experience with Windows 11, and Office 365,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and friendly disposition
  • Ability to work alone, on a team, and to multitask
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses and quickly resolves a wide range of Windows application issues to help minimize downtime.
  • Implements, upgrades (3-years for hardware), troubleshoots and resolves issues within supported End User Computing systems.
  • Configures, maintains and deploys desktop operating systems, ensuring data integrity and system security.
  • Creates and maintains service documentation to be used by IT personnel and customers within the organization.
  • Works cross-functionally with internal departments to improve the customer experience and identify and resolve root causes of PC hardware and software issues.
  • Works with Vendor partners to identify and resolve moderate to complex product issues and computer leases.
  • Provides patch management of information systems
  • Maintains and updates asset inventory.
  • Participates in new project efforts and provides documentation and training of new systems and processes to support personnel.
  • Assists senior level staff members with advanced maintenance and troubleshooting of End User technology systems for software deployment, patching and systems management.
  • Limited travel to office locations.
  • In order to perform one (1) or more essential functions of this role, five (5) days in the office are required.
