Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with asset management or inventory software.
  • Basic understanding of procurement, maintenance, or logistics workflows.
  • Ability to conduct physical asset audits (walking, lifting, scanning).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Asset Tracking & Documentation Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records for all organizational assets.
  • Update asset information in the asset management system, including status, location, ownership, warranty, and lifecycle details.
  • Perform regular physical audits and reconciliations to validate asset inventory.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management Support asset procurement, receiving, tagging, and deployment.
  • Assist with maintenance scheduling, warranty claims, and vendor coordination.
  • Track end-of-life assets and support proper disposal or recycling in accordance with policy.
  • Data Management & Reporting Generate asset-related reports for leadership, finance, or compliance teams.
  • Analyze asset utilization and highlight opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of asset information in databases and tracking tools.
  • Compliance & Policy Support Follow asset management policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Support internal audits and external regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all asset movements and changes.
  • Operational Support Respond to requests regarding asset status, location, or availability.
  • Provide technical support for tagging, scanning, and tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with IT, facilities, or operations teams on asset deployment or maintenance activities.
