About The Position

Due to our rapid growth, our success is directly dependent on attracting and retaining the best possible talent across our teams. To this end, we are posting for a strong Desktop Support Analyst I. This job will be based in our manufacturing facility in Norwood, MA. There will be occasional travel to Needham, MA, and Norton, MA. The Desktop Support Analyst I will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and resolving technical PC, server, and network-related issues. The Desktop Support Analyst I will also analyze technical complexities and network issues to provide a resolution. The incumbent will interview users thoroughly for details and accurately record user problems and requests into a specialized Help Desk ticketing system. Responsibilities also include determining prioritization of incident action items; follow-up activities to ensure that problems are adequately logged and their resolutions documented; installing, upgrading, and configuring workstations; and implementing new or updated commercial product portfolios.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • 1 + years of experience in Help Desk or Technical support preferred.
  • Proficiency in current standard PC applications require (O365 Experience a must).
  • Deep familiarity with the Windows Operating System required.
  • Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
  • Industry certifications are a plus (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+).

Responsibilities

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and install client devices, including but not limited to, computers, laptops, printers, cell phones and mobile hand-held computers.
  • Continually provide high level of service and support to employees as you receive, assess, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in-person and remotely by telephone.
  • Log and manage incidents using Help Desk ticketing system.
  • React to escalation notices to expedite resolution by prioritizing and rebalancing multiple requests.
  • Provide an IT orientation as part of the new employee onboarding process.
  • Provision new hardware as required.
  • Lead workstation setups/moves.
  • Physically troubleshoot hardware and create vendor service requests when applicable.
  • Act as an equal participant with other team members in 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
