Job Summary. Summer Intern will provide hands-on technical support in a large international enterprise environment, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and support of end‑user computing hardware and software. This role offers practical, real‑world IT experience, exposure to enterprise tools and processes, and the opportunity to develop strong customer service and troubleshooting skills while working alongside experienced desktop support professionals.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program with a related major

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, relocate, and maintain end‑user computing hardware, including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and support of standard desktop software and office productivity tools
  • Work directly with end users to assess hardware and software needs and coordinate equipment requests and acquisitions
  • Utilize automation and remote management tools to deploy software and updates
  • Support desktop imaging processes and help maintain standardized build images
  • Organize, track, and maintain inventory of new and used PC‑related hardware in the stockroom
  • Provide timely, professional support for end users experiencing hardware, software, or connectivity issues
  • Follow established IT procedures, documentation standards, and internal control requirements
  • Participate in team projects and initiatives that improve the desktop support experience
