About The Position

The Desktop Senior Technical Analyst is a key role within the Governor's Office of Information Technology, responsible for providing advanced desktop support to a diverse user base, including state employees and contractors. This position involves resolving complex technical issues, deploying new systems, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in desktop support, ensuring that IT services meet the operational needs of the State of Colorado.

Requirements

• Five years of professional experience in desktop support or a related field.
• Experience in a professional service desk environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating systems (Windows 7, 10, Android OS, Apple iOS).
• Aptitude for communicating technical matters to non-technical personnel.
• Experience with SCCM.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II and III desktop support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Deploy new or rebuilt computers according to security and operational policies.
• Install and manage Enterprise Configuration Management Tool platforms.
• Conduct USB-based and InTunes-based imaging installations.
• Support desktop, laptop, and tablet users with software issues, including Microsoft and Adobe products.
• Log service incidents into the ticketing system and provide assistance for standard applications.
• Assist other IT teams with network troubleshooting and file server management.
