About the position

Barclays Services LLC seeks Desktop Product Owner, AVP in Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available). The role involves managing priorities through agile methods in a fast-paced environment that crosses multiple business divisions and support areas. The successful candidate will work with Operations and Tech teams (Scrum/Dev Leads/BAs) across Desktop and AWS Platforms, designing and delivering robust end-to-end agent experience solutions. This includes considerations for Desktop Landing Pages, workflow improvements, Case Management, best practice Desktop principles, and agent efficiency. The position also entails providing consultancy for change, technology, and commercial teams when developing products/projects that require Desktop changes. The Desktop Product Owner will manage several concurrent high visibility project backlogs for the Business Process Management Platform while ensuring the priorities of the business are maintained through deployment. Responsibilities include Epic Segmentation to create and prioritize the Product Backlog, defining the Product Backlog by sequencing stories, and maintaining work volume through backlog and Progressive Elaboration sessions. Compliance with regulatory requirements, the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards is essential. The position may allow for telecommuting and is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience in managing products using agile methodologies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders including traders, salespeople, risk managers, and technology teams.
  • Ability to utilize market research and customer feedback to identify new products, features, or enhancements.
  • Experience in developing and executing reports and presentations for product updates.
  • Experience in user acceptance testing to validate product concepts.
  • Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with Business Process Management Platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources.
