The Opportunity: As a Desktop Engineer at Hamilton Lane, your responsibilities will include providing both on-site desktop support and remote assistance in addressing hardware and software challenges. Additionally, you will engage in project initiatives aimed at implementing new end-user technologies and enhancing infrastructure. While always maintaining a professional demeanor, you will prioritize end-user support and possess a mindset geared towards improving the overall end-user experience whenever feasible.

Requirements

• Over 1-3+ years of practical experience in supporting Windows and macOS systems.
• More than 2 years of hands-on experience with iOS and Android devices.
• At least 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Intune.
• A minimum of 2 years in M365 administration.
• Over 3 years of experience with SharePoint.
• At least 2 years of experience in supporting Video Conferencing solutions.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members, including C-Suite executives.
• Experience collaborating with IT vendors for international support.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably the Atlassian suite, especially Confluence and Jira.
• Experience with remote assistance tools like Beyond Trust (formerly Bomgar).
• Proficient in supporting and using collaboration platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and Slack.
• Knowledge of application packaging and deployment management for MS Windows and mobile devices.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven history of successfully delivering multiple complex technical projects on schedule and within budget.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• PowerShell experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide both on-site desktop support and remote assistance in addressing hardware and software challenges.
• Engage in project initiatives aimed at implementing new end-user technologies and enhancing infrastructure.
• Promote the utilization of unified endpoint management tools for desktop and mobile devices to facilitate a next-generation end-user experience.
• Expand the application of our service management platform to establish a known error database.
