About The Position

The Desktop Analyst at Sephora's Las Vegas Distribution Center is responsible for providing tier-2 technical support to end-users, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents and requests. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting desktop environments, including Windows and Mac systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the enterprise desktop environment. The position requires a commitment to customer service and effective communication, as well as the ability to manage complex software and hardware requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in technical support and customer service.
  • 3+ years' experience with enterprise wide OS/application refresh projects (Desired).
  • 3+ years' experience in supporting standard enterprise applications, such as Anti-virus/malware client, Microsoft Office/Outlook, VPN, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and later, including file systems, the registry, security, integration and Exchange.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft standard desktop applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, Visio, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Participate on a cross-functional team providing support to Windows and Mac equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
  • Ensure computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems.
  • Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.
  • Research, resolve, and respond to end-user issues/problems/questions received mainly through Service-Now and provide support on desktop systems in accordance with current standards and SLA's.
  • Create and/or maintain clear documentation pertaining to the desktop environment.
  • Occasionally provide remote support for all DC facilities.
