About The Position

The Deskside Technician role is an entry-level position focused on providing technical support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The technician will be responsible for deploying devices, troubleshooting hardware issues, and assisting staff with their IT needs. This position requires on-site work five days a week and involves travel to multiple locations within the Kansas City Metro Area.

Requirements

  • Basic troubleshooting skills acquired through school or professional experience.
  • A very basic understanding of Excel.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between sites.
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights or weekends if needed.
  • Strong soft skills, including attention to detail and good customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with imaging Windows devices using SCCM or Intune.
  • Experience with HP desktops and laptops.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 or 11.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy HP and Lenovo devices in a healthcare setting.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on monitors, desktops, printers, and other devices.
  • Assist with PC imaging and hardware refresh tasks after training.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to staff within the organization.
  • Maintain reliable transportation to travel between multiple sites as needed.
