Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years design experience using Autosprink VR is required
  • Proficiency in the use of Autosprink VR is required
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Must be comfortable asking questions
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience using Autosprink VR is a plus
  • Previous construction experience is a plus
  • A degree in Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design would be an acceptable alternative to on-the-job design experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy
  • Draw systems in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible
  • Learn and Run hydraulic calculations (Autosprink VR)
  • Learn and Run then check stock listing for fabrication of new fire sprinkler systems (Autosprink VR)
  • Request plans and information from General Contractors and Architects
  • Build product data submittals
