About The Position

About Workbrew Workbrew builds the features companies need on top of Homebrew , the most popular package manager on macOS and a rapidly growing standard on Linux. We work at the intersection of open source and the enterprise, helping teams adopt Homebrew with confidence through commercial support, MDM integration, and emerging enterprise capabilities. The role We’re looking for a Designer to join our Go To Market team on a contract basis. This role is open to designers at any stage of their career. You’ll help shape how Workbrew shows up in the world, turning ideas into clear, expressive design across brand and marketing touchpoints. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who is excited by open source, enjoys inventing new concepts, and wants space to grow their craft alongside a fast-moving company.

Requirements

• Strong skills in Figma and Adobe InDesign
• Experience creating GIFs and social media assets
• A sharp visual eye and strong attention to detail
• Comfort taking direction, plus curiosity to push ideas further
• Genuine interest in open source and developer culture

Nice To Haves

• Experience with open source projects or communities
• Familiarity with developer relations or developer-focused products
• A love of branding, world-building, and visual storytelling
• You actively follow the Homebrew ecosystem or already use Homebrew in your own work

Responsibilities

• Turn early ideas and loose concepts into polished, high-quality design
• Create bold, original brand concepts, including visual themes, illustrations, mascots, and campaign ideas
• Design marketing materials such as social cards, decks, whitepapers, GIFs, and short-form motion assets
• Collaborate closely with marketing to explore new ways of telling the Workbrew story
• Help evolve how Workbrew looks and feels as the company grows
