About The Position

Lively Packaging Design Studio is looking for a Designer with fresh ideas for food and beverage packaging clients. Your portfolio should be 75% packaging with experience in the overall branding world, including digital and environmental assets. The look is bright, energetic, and clean, with good type that reflects the category. The work must be soundly strategic in nature, and you must be able to address the reasons behind your design choices. The studio is a quick paced work environment with good team vibes. People get promoted at this growing firm. We are seeking a versatile and talented Designer for their New York office. As part of the New York team, this person will assist the Creative Director and Executive Creative Director with all phases of work, including research, concept exploration, design development and finalization. We are looking for someone who is multifaceted, with a broad range of experience that may include corporate branding, packaging, licensed products, and interactive design. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a degree in fine arts or graphic design and 2-5 years experience working as a graphic designer. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and a working knowledge of production are musts for this position. Strong typography and hand skills are also required.
