About The Position

CBS Sports is looking for a mid-level graphic designer with strong production skills and a passion for sports. As part of the team you will work directly with the Design Director and Marketing Department where you’ll be responsible for projects that meet the brand goals of CBS Sports.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Art or Advertising
  • 5+ years of professional work experience as a designer
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently, meet deadlines, deliver accurate and error-free artwork, co-ordinate multiple projects and work well in a team environment
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including building scalable layouts, components, and design systems for marketing and product environments
  • Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design, ensuring layouts translate effectively across mobile, tablet, and desktop environments
  • Must have expert-level, hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Power Point
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and file management
  • Strong design fundamentals including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Passionate fan – we don’t care which sport. We’re looking for a sports fan who can design for sports fans.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing App Store and in-app promotional layouts, with an understanding of platform guidelines, responsive design, and device breakpoints
  • Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design, ensuring layouts translate effectively across mobile, tablet, and desktop environments
  • Experience designing product marketing assets that live within apps, websites, and streaming platforms
  • Comfortable collaborating with product, marketing, and development teams to prepare production-ready assets and organized design files
  • Video encoding/compression, AfterEffects and Final Cut experience is helpful but not required
  • Illustration skills a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing assets that support CBS Sports brand initiatives and promotional campaigns
  • Ability to create dynamic, modular ad systems that can easily scale across multiple sizes, placements, and digital platforms
  • Take high level direction to complete projects quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of quality for final files, accurate archiving and project organization
