About The Position
The Designer at MassArt Art Museum (MAAM) creates assets that range from event flyers, advertisements, posters, and programs to exhibition signage, wall text, and related materials, both print and digital. This opportunity is designed for those interested in pursuing a career in graphic design with direction and feedback given from the MAAM team. Reporting to the Deputy Director and working closely with the staff at MAAM, the Designer will contribute to a range of projects in collaboration with the MAAM team and at times, with other partners. This part-time position is designed to broaden the experience of emerging professionals in graphic design or related fields. The Designer will work up to 10 hours a week to be spread out over 1-2 weekdays (days/times negotiable). Occasional evening and weekend hours events may be needed.
