About The Position

Bathhouse is seeking a Designer to support the creation of new Bathhouse amenity spaces. This role functions as a core collaborator with leadership and works closely with the Design Architect, helping translate architectural concepts into highly resolved built environments. Bathhouse projects combine architecture, wellness, and hospitality. Bringing together saunas, hydrotherapy pools, and social spaces into immersive spatial sequences. We are looking for someone who is both design-driven and technically capable; someone who can move fluidly between concept, detailing, coordination, and construction thinking.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to work through space planning, material selection, and produce detailed construction drawings
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Experience coordinating with consultants

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture, preferred
  • Experience in hospitality, cultural, or experiential architecture
  • Experience with wet environments or spa/pool design
  • Proficiency in Rhino, Enscape, or similar tools
  • Strong graphic and diagramming ability

Responsibilities

  • Translate conceptual ideas into clear architectural proposals and spatial studies
  • Develop plans, sections, and diagrams that communicate spatial experience
  • Support the development of architectural language, including stone, tile, plaster, lighting, and water elements
  • Participate in design reviews and iterative development
  • Develop and maintain Revit models for complex architectural environments
  • Produce construction documentation and technical details
  • Resolve assemblies for wet areas, thermal environments, and specialty conditions
  • Coordinate with consultants, including structural, MEP, pool/spa engineers, and lighting designers
  • Prepare presentation materials, design packages, diagrams, visualizations, and design narratives
  • Clearly communicate design intent internally and with consultants
  • Assist with construction documentation and consultant coordination
  • Track design revisions and maintain drawing clarity
  • Participate in responses to RFIs, shop drawings, and contractor coordination
  • Help source and evaluate materials such as stone, tile, plaster, and custom metalwork
  • Support fabrication coordination for specialty architectural elements
