About The Position
Klein Kitchen and Bath, a leading kitchen and bath design build firm located in New York City, is currently seeking an experienced designer to join our talented design team. Our firm is known for featuring top national brands and maintaining an award-winning designer showroom, consistently providing the best design and build services in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and are looking for a dedicated professional who shares our passion for design and customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately translating rough measurements into working designs while adhering to tight deadlines. This role requires a strong sales background, as direct interaction with clients is essential. The designer will assist the sales team in managing client accounts and will oversee the entire design process, from the initial layout to the final order. Maintaining a positive attitude and staying organized under pressure are crucial attributes for success in this position. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years of experience in kitchen and bath design, particularly within the New York City market. The successful applicant will have a portfolio that showcases their previous work and will be knowledgeable in design software, particularly 20/20 and AutoCAD. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, as is the ability to resolve on-site installation issues effectively. A detail-oriented and organized disposition is essential for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
