Requirements

  • Previous sales experience required.
  • In-home sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold (training is provided).
  • Willingness to learn and participate in professional training & development opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in interior design, window treatment sales, flooring sales, closet design, kitchen & bath remodels, or other home-investment & remodeling services.
  • Graduates with degrees in design or related fields.
  • Independent design company owners looking to expand their business.
  • Experienced salespersons with a passion for selling in the home.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers as in-home custom window treatment Designers.
  • Provide expert guidance on interior blinds, shades, shutters, drapery & outdoor roller shades.
  • Manage all aspects of customer projects from concept to installation.
  • Anticipate customer's needs and recommend products to meet their specific design needs.
  • Quote prices in the client's home and track orders.
  • Access client and sales information anytime, anywhere.
