About The Position
As a Designer III on the Design team, you will play a crucial role in the architectural design process. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating, selecting, and applying advanced architectural and design methods. You will be responsible for project assignments that encompass programming, design development, and the coordination and production of construction documents. This position requires you to develop and prepare construction documents, plans, and details, as well as execute red-marked revisions to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. In addition to document preparation, you will evaluate and integrate engineering systems while implementing code, accessibility, and zoning analyses. Conducting field observations to monitor the progress of construction will also be a key part of your role, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet established timelines. You will work both independently and collaboratively with your team to meet project constraints related to budget and schedule. Your responsibilities will also include developing, preparing, and coordinating presentation materials, which are essential for communicating design concepts to clients and stakeholders. You will be involved in coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. As a senior member of the team, you may also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, sharing your expertise and guiding their professional development. Utilizing your rock-star technical skills in Revit and other design application software will be essential in executing your duties effectively. Your contributions will help shape the success of our projects and the overall design vision of the firm.
