About The Position

The position requires an individual with advanced knowledge of project complexity to contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design. The role involves developing creative and innovative design ideas, coordinating drawings for various design phases, analyzing product research, and crafting design presentations. The candidate will implement a creative approach to complete tasks within the scope of schedule and budget, while also reviewing work for accuracy and compliance. The position supports the growth of others and encourages curiosity about design and the industry. Effective communication and coordination with partners and consultants are essential.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline required.
  • LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
  • Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design.
  • Preparing for ARE and active involvement in AXP.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of project complexity to proactively contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Develops creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions.
  • Coordinates drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Analyzes product research and identifies material selections.
  • Takes an active role in crafting client and non-client design presentations and prepares corresponding materials.
  • Implements a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects, within the scope of schedule and budget.
  • Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance.
  • Supports growth of others.
  • Expresses curiosity about the world of design and the industry at large.
  • Takes increasing ownership on tasks within project teams and studio activities.
  • Participates in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
  • Keeps open and proactive communication with all and is inspiring within team and designated team leader.
  • Coordinates effectively with partners and consultants.
