About The Position

As a Designer on the Engagement team, you will design experiences that engage and delight. With an established understanding of storytelling and customer journeys, you craft creative that strengthens connections and builds loyalty. Your passion for engagement and retention strategies drives you to learn, adapt, and contribute to impactful campaigns. You will work at the heart of the action, collaborating closely with the Design Lead, creative team, and stakeholders. Your primary mission will be to design, test and optimize within the CRM channel, as well as provide production design support.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing or product design, with a focus on CRM engagement and retention and production design.
  • Experience with platforms like Braze, Mailchimp, or SendGrid is a plus.
  • A strong portfolio is required showcasing innovative, engagement-focused creative that drove measurable customer retention or loyalty.
  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential. Experience with Figma is a major plus.
  • Expertise in designing for CRM channels (email, push, in-app), with an understanding of how to optimize for audience interaction and response.
  • Experience working with marketers and product teams to refine creative approaches.
  • A passion for or interest in sports, casino games, or the iGaming industry is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and execution of engagement-driven creative (CRM, email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other engagement channels) including lifecycle campaigns, loyalty programs, and personalized experiences.
  • Partner closely with the CRM team with designing templates for HTML emails and in-app messages, ensuring they are visually compelling and optimized for user interaction.
  • Support the senior creative staff on larger campaign initiatives by extrapolating creative into additional sizes, versions, and placements.
  • Work with the CRM team to understand campaign performance data and use these insights to optimize on your designs and improve key metrics.
  • Ensure every design you create strictly adheres to Hard Rock Digital’s brand guidelines and the specific regulatory requirements for each market.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices in digital advertising, particularly within the CRM and gaming landscapes.
