About The Position

Reporting to the Director, you will conceive and create strategically grounded, compelling packaging designs that strengthen brand equity, elevate shelf impact, and reflect consumer and retail insights. You will partner across brand, marketing, and production teams to develop innovative visual solutions that balance business needs with creative vision, all while fostering collaboration, managing expectations in client and stakeholder discussions, and maintaining a positive, professional presence throughout the design process.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand and packaging design.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative problem solving and development of broad visual identity systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of packaging die lines, print processes, and production requirements.
  • Strong time‑management skills and experience working within structured timelines across multiple projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational discipline.
  • Willingness to openly receive and incorporate constructive feedback.
  • Self‑motivated mindset with comfort working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Create packaging designs that are strategically driven, culturally relevant, and optimized for shelf impact within the specific retail environment.
  • Develop innovative design solutions grounded in strong problem‑solving approaches that balance creative vision with business objectives.
  • Build brand assets that contribute to clear, scalable brand guidelines and off‑pack applications used internally and externally.
  • Manage multiple high‑priority projects concurrently, delivering polished, high‑quality work under tight deadlines while sustaining collaboration and team morale.
  • Lead client and stakeholder meetings with confidence, navigating unexpected changes, gathering relevant feedback, and building consensus around design decisions.
  • Maintain positive, professional communication across all levels, strengthening cross‑functional relationships.
  • Work hands‑on with production partners to ensure design integrity from concept through execution.
  • Collaborate with creative director, marketing, and cross‑functional partners to achieve objectives and ensure alignment throughout the design process.
  • Demonstrate strong listening skills and incorporate diverse perspectives to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Use AI‑driven tools and techniques appropriately to enhance original concepts and deliver packaging that resonates with target audiences and meets business goals.
