  • Assist in designing and creating printed materials for various uses throughout the university.
  • Design and produce professional layouts for university publications.
  • Help maintain the university's brand and contribute to the graphics production of the alumni magazine and other marketing materials.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the university archive by updating projects and content.
  • Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, or an associate's degree with three years of experience, or a combination of education and experience totaling five years.
  • Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process.
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
  • Knowledge of digital publishing applications such as After Effects, and/or editing programs including Premier or Final Cut Pro.
  • Knowledge of web design applications, including UX/UI.
  • Skills in the use of personal computers and related software applications, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator on a Mac platform.
  • Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prepare quality printed promotional/communication materials.
  • Ability to produce professional illustrations using various mediums.
  • Ability to use a digital camera.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and archive files and records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
