About The Position
Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Designer (AutoCAD Civil 3D) to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This position is integral to our water and wastewater engineering design projects, where you will utilize computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) to create mechanical layouts, piping and equipment plans, and detailed drawings. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, from the conceptual design phase through to construction, allowing you to contribute significantly to impactful projects that address complex environmental challenges. As a Designer, you will draft, edit, and finalize design plans while adhering to Geosyntec's drafting standards. You will be responsible for developing 3D plant models in an integrated CAD environment, preparing general arrangement drawings, and generating piping isometric drawings as required. Collaboration with process engineers will be essential, as you will prepare project deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID). Your analytical skills will be put to use as you interpret sketches and notes to develop project drawing sets, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the design process.
