About The Position

Gensler Los Angeles is seeking Junior Designers with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience. We are looking for someone who thinks critically, approaches work with tenacity and consistency, and can develop work in a group or independently. You will, collaborate with project leaders and develop materials for project delivery and client presentations.

Requirements

• Professional degree in architecture
• 1 – 5 years of related project experience
• Knowledge of Revit, Adobe Suite, Rhino preferred
• Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas
• Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
• A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Applications will not be considered without uploaded portfolio/work samples

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of InDesign, SketchUp, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Leadership and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development and production
• Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and assist in construction drawings
• Assist, team communication and consultant coordination
• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
