About The Position
This pool is for assignments for the 2025/2026 school year. The San Diego Unified School District accepts applications for Designated Subject Teachers (Secondary Level) on a continuous basis for regular full-time and part-time assignments. This is a continuous recruitment which will be used to establish an ongoing eligibility list for secondary schools. Candidates that do not wish to be considered for regular full-time/part-time positions should apply to the substitute teacher pool to be considered for temporary assignments. The Designated Subject Teacher Pool is for individuals who hold a designated subjects credential or who are eligible for a designated subjects credential and wish to teach a Career Technical Education course at a secondary school.
