Requirements

Working knowledge of OSHA 1910, ANSI, & NFPA standards
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
OSHA 30Hr – General Industry Trained
Minimum 1-year verifiable, full-time safety experience or related discipline required.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.
Ability to function independently and take initiative until tasks are complete.
Strong computer skills and adept at learning new software
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Prior work within manufacturing organization a plus.
Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

Learn and understand the health and safety policies and procedures established by Cummings Integrated Manufacturing.
Advise all floor employees, and subcontractors regarding safe work practices needed to comply with company safety procedures, project requirements, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Routinely inspect the work areas & overall facility for safety violations and stop any unsafe work practices/conditions.
Report all safety concerns, incidents, and near-misses to the Safety Manager within 24 hours of occurrence.
The DSR shall monitor and ensure that the operations for these activities are safe and in compliance with the applicable procedures and regulations: Production installation / operations Electrical components & assemblies Paint / Sandblast Cutting / Welding Material Handling, staging & loading/offloading Crane Operations, including flagging/spotter Equipment inspections and operations Project/site inspections and operations Lockout /Tagout
