The Designated Quality Representative (DQR) is accountable for all document and final inspection duties pertaining to select customer expectations while adhering to all ISO procedures and standards. The DQR communicates with outside suppliers and customers to ensure engineering drawings are current, verifies parts to the drawings (as applicable) and ensures detailed customer requirements are met while making updates in the computer systems including customer portals. The role is also accountable for meeting and exceeding company wide expectations in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, attendance, attitude/teamwork; cross training; and other tasks and duties outside primary job function as assigned by management. Our Quality Team: Responsible for adhering to all ISO procedures and standards. Able to read, interpret and measure part dimensions against engineering specifications and drawings to assure product are within specifications. Reads special instructions on customer orders, verifies compliance, and provides information to Sales, Operations and Quality regarding work order issues and/or purchase orders. Updates computer system as necessary and ensures notes and other documentation are correct. Communicates with suppliers and customers via e-mail and telephone to obtain current documentation, including but not limited to, engineering drawings and communicates updates as appropriate to management. Processes and resolves discrepancies identified within the job function in an expeditious manner by researching the issue, determining appropriate resolution and by providing disposition for nonconforming product to the appropriate parties and by being actively involved, if not leading the efforts, to address corrective actions as requested. Ensures TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery within the areas of assigned responsibility. Meets and exceeds established quality goals internally and externally, as applicable, that may be directives from customers while meeting all established standard operating procedures. Maintains acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies. Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward all work assignments. Contributes to the ongoing success of organization by willingly accepting and embracing “other tasks and duties as assigned”, even if tasks are assigned outside of the department of hire. Other measurements of attitude/teamwork include effectiveness in working with co-workers, ability to work overtime, sense of urgency within the department, ability to work unsupervised, overall flexibility and positive attitude focused on delivery of desired results for TTI. Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established operating expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards. Actively cross trains in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function and/or departmental functions.
