As a Design Verification Engineer at Quest Global, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and performance of complex System on Chips (SoCs) that incorporate embedded ARM CPUs, Digital Signal Processors (DSPs), and various interconnect protocols. Your expertise will be essential in verifying designs that utilize DDR3 memory and a range of peripherals, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. You will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans, creating testbenches, and performing simulations to validate the design against specifications. Your role will also involve utilizing advanced verification methodologies, particularly using Hardware Verification Languages (HVL) such as UVM or System Verilog with OVM. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Perl, and TCL will be necessary to automate verification tasks and enhance the efficiency of the verification process. A solid understanding of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools will be critical in your day-to-day activities, as you will leverage these tools to facilitate the verification process. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate strong communication abilities, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and engineers located in different divisions and remote locations. Your self-motivation and ability to work independently will be key to your success in this role. Experience with signal processing, MATLAB/Simulink flows, and AMS/Low Power verification techniques will be advantageous, as will familiarity with assertion writing and formal verification methods.
