About The Position
Our tech client in South Lake Union is looking for a Sr. UX Designer to join their TV Device team. This designer will be working on the Design Systems experience for TV/app devices. Hybrid in Seattle. Job Description Top Skills' Details 1. Experience UX Designer with 3-5 years of recent experience spent in design systems 2. Portfolio showcasing B2B complex type UIs, case studies, and strong design process and systems thinking 3. Familiarity working with AI tooling 4. Portfolio must showcase a design systems case study Experience required: - Design Systems Expertise 3 to 5 years - Basic HTML/CSS understanding helpful for specs but not required - Familiarity with design tokens such as JSON and CSS variables - Experience with UXPin Merge, Zeroheight, or Storybook - Knowledge of WCAG AA accessibility standards - Device-Specific Experience - Smart TV or 10-foot UI design including TV - Tablet or touch interface design including iPad or Android tablets - Remote navigation and D-pad interaction patterns - Industry Experience - 3P partner enablement or developer documentation - B2B SaaS or enterprise tool design - Component libraries used by 50 or more designers Notes from HM: - Consultant to bridge the gap between domain designers who have building experience, and unification of design system team - Try to advocate with other design system teams why they need TV specific components - 3P developers – smaller TV companies (TCL) building TV’s (Help build guides, documents, guidelines, flows and components, visual QA) - May be taking on some workflows, that is very UX (not just consultancy but can-do design work) - Some of the more technical inclined within AI – Strategy where they can use coding to automate a lot, with templates, and documentation to increase productivity
Requirements
