About The Position

As a Design Support Specialist , you will be the connection between customers and our design team, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience throughout the custom apparel process. This hybrid role blends customer service with technical design support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has an eye for detail. You will guide customers through the design process, clarify their needs, manage revisions, and ensure their vision is accurately realized.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to build rapport and create a seamless, positive experience for customers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Interest in apparel design and basic proficiency with Adobe Illustrator/InDesign (or willingness to learn).
  • Coachable, resourceful, and solution-oriented with a passion for customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing design assistance.
  • Engage with customers via phone and email, providing guidance on design options, file requirements, and order updates.
  • Assist with design-related inquiries, modifications, and troubleshooting.
  • Resolve customer concerns, including product defects, with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Document and relay customer feedback to internal teams for process improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with frequent customers, offering proactive support.
  • Modify and finalize artwork using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign based on customer feedback.
  • Ensure accuracy in proof revisions and maintain clear records of design changes.
  • Collaborate with internal and remote design teams to ensure seamless execution of orders.
  • Learn and adapt to new design software and production processes as needed.
  • Listen to customers to fully understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Educate customers on design best practices to optimize artwork for production.
  • Deescalate and resolve issues in a professional, customer-first manner.
  • Identify trends from customer feedback to enhance service and design processes.
