( YouTube , Instagram , TikTok ) POSITION SUMMARY: The Design Studio Manager will play a key role in supporting the Men’s and Women’s Accessories, Footwear and Licensing Design teams. This role will ensure smooth workflows and communication of timelines and milestones across seasons and channels. The Design Studio Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Global Design Operations. You will work closely with the VP of Design and the Design Directors in order to enable the productivity of the Calvin Klein Accessories, Footwear and Licensing teams, maximizing inter-departmental and cross-functional connectivity. You will be part of a dynamic design studio as a strategic thinker and collaborator.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience working in a creative design studio with innovative leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or related field.
  • Strong understanding of the design process from concept to production.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design Studio Operations: Maintain visibility to seasonal milestones and support the teams with time management and calendar adherence.
  • Manage design calendar invites for milestone meetings and internal meetings, such as sketch reviews and product reviews.
  • Support IT, Procurement/Marketplace, and Facilities requests.
  • Support with set-up in presentation rooms for reviews and milestones, inclusive of pinning boards and displaying product.
  • Product Management: Coordinate domestic and international product shipments and messenger services.
  • Support studio organization, including PVH Archives receipts and returns, sample coordintation in work rooms and reference closets.
  • Keep track of all samples on loan to Fashion Office, Marketing teams, and cross-category design teams.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Support calendar and process adherence of Licensing partners in collaboration with dedicated designers.
  • Connect with the Go To Market team to support the Prana image process, inclusive of coordinating samples for photography and requesting 2D CADs from designers.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Market Merch and other Studio Managers on departmental support for all major milestones, inclusive of Open Studio sessions and celebrations.
  • Budget & Travel Management: Partner with PVH Travel to support domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Support tracking reference sample purchases and adhering to shopping budgets.
  • Manage invoices and Marketplace process for the design department.
  • Order supplies as needed for the design studio, while maintaining budget approvals.
  • Human Resources/Facilities: Enable smooth on-boarding for new hires, freelancers, and interns requesting computers, tools, and workspaces.
  • Support temp requests, freelance budget approvals, and processing invoices.
  • Partner with Facilities for office space allocation, floor moves, etc. for all Apparel floors.
