What you'll do: Complete design tasks for associated utility design projects. Tasks include but are not limited to drafting, calculations, easement validation; design/construction cost estimating & permit package development, virtual & in person client meetings Identifies and verifies existing overhead and underground utilities and reviews field data/maps and finalized application documents for accuracy and completeness Managing multiple projects in order to assure timely, successful completion of projects resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction and company/departmental goal achievements. Learn and incorporate company safety rules and policies, company design standards and governing authority regulations into daily work and designs. Designs will meet all requirements of applicable company safety standards, company distribution construction standards, and governing authority regulations Meets and exceeds established productivity and quality targets. Is mindful of project timelines and budget constraints. Tracks project progress according to client and company procedures through submission. Conducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic. Identifies information to be communicated to the client and project stakeholders through team leads and project managers. Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors. Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews. Perform all other related duties, such as field work, as required.
