Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. (required)
- Strong Powertrain technical fundamentals. (required)
- 7+ years of experience managing complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects, with evidence of success bringing programs to life from concept to production (required)
- Experience with common project/ program management tools. (required)
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment with colleagues from purchasing, manufacturing, etc. (required)
- Strong interpersonal skills including accountability, self-motivation, problem solving, analytical thinking, succinct communication and ability to develop & mutually thrive in working relationships. (required)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with design release of Powertrain components and systems. (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for system engineering for the front drive unit, front drive unit assembly and the front and rear drive unit NVH cover for the Scout Traveler SUV and Terra pickup.
- Coordinate component designs, builds and testing to meet both Scout and supplier milestones.
- Identify risks and escalate to leadership where appropriate to raise awareness and drive action.
- Track and report drive unit imperatives including system cost, mass, and investment.
- Effectively coordinate hardware, software and calibration for all phases from prototype development to production.
- Provide technical feedback to concept architects, designers, test engineers and calibration teams.
- Act as the drive unit single point contact for various partners and suppliers.

- This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
- Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
- The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
