Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Design Manager responsible for overseeing medium to large sized school projects in Los Angeles. The Design Manager will plan, organize, and direct the design activities for the School Upgrade Program and critical repair projects, functioning as the lead design professional in the Design Department. This role involves managing the District's design process to ensure compliance with functional program, budgetary, environmental, and legal requirements, while also overseeing multiple projects from conception to final review and approval. The Design Manager will work closely with architects, consultants, and District personnel to ensure that new and modernized structures meet educational and building standards requirements.
