About The Position

The FIRST New York office is looking for a Design Production Intern to help ensure creative projects move seamlessly from concept to completion by supporting on the alignment of designers, timelines and client deliverables. You will be reporting into the Senior Creative Project Manager. You will also be working alongside the Creative Studio Director, Video Producer and the whole of the Global Creative Studio team. We work globally and there will be requirements to work across regions. Our solutions come in many forms but can be grouped into the following categories: Conferences, meetings, exhibits Experiential events & launches Team motivational experiences, activities & hospitality Digital & multimedia campaigns

Requirements

  • Candidates can either be college students, recent graduates, or individuals looking to change their career
  • No previous experience required
  • Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), Microsoft Office, Google Suite
  • Very good communication and social skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist with design projects (internal and external)
  • Support quality control and cross-checks of design/multimedia assets (lower thirds, titles, signage, print proofs)
  • Collaborate on creative team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Use your specific production and design knowledge and expertise to assist in areas of project development
  • Bring enthusiasm, inspiration, fresh ideas, and your own creative skills to the team
  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Creative and team members to understand project requirements and support creative, planning, and delivery processes
  • Create, update, and maintain project documentation (slide decks, agendas, timelines, trackers)
  • Schedule meetings, help organize notes and output expectations, take minutes, and support client and internal communications
  • Research suppliers, resources, software, and technologies
  • Book meetings with freelancers and track onboarding details
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal contracting/finance teams to complete paperwork and ensure proper onboarding and payment
  • Work collaboratively with production, technical, and events teams
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across teams
  • Adapt and remain flexible when working with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Organize and maintain files, media assets, licenses and hard drives
  • Source and manage design assets (music, stock, links, hard drives)
