About the position
The Design Optimization Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting mechanical design optimization projects aimed at enhancing engineering and manufacturing processes. This position involves collecting and analyzing data to prioritize projects based on data-driven insights. The specialist will also assist in quality assurance for new designs and bills of material, ensuring they meet high standards. Additionally, the role includes conducting cost/benefit analyses in collaboration with stakeholders and troubleshooting design concerns in coordination with manufacturing teams.

Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret complex data
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and manufacturing teams
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality assurance
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-sufficiency in problem-solving
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing processes is a plus
- Familiarity with CREO and/or AutoCAD is a plus
