About The Position

Healthcare is complex. Marketing it well is even harder. Unlock Health’s Summer Internship Program is built for people who are curious enough to lean into that complexity — and creative enough to help simplify it. You’ll work on real client projects alongside experienced strategists, creatives, analysts, and many more talented individuals. You’ll see how brand, data, technology, and revenue strategy come together to help healthcare organizations connect people to care. The ideal Design Intern is a curious, detail-oriented visual thinker eager to sharpen your craft in a collaborative, real-world environment. You have a strong foundation in design fundamentals and want to understand how strategy, feedback, and execution come together in client work. You’re open to critique, ask thoughtful questions, and take pride in the details that elevate great design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.

Requirements

  • Recent or upcoming May 2026 college graduates or rising seniors
  • Students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the healthcare marketing industry
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required

Responsibilities

  • Support designers and art directors in creating visual assets for digital, social, print, and presentation projects.
  • Learn how creative strategy and brand guidelines translate into clear, intentional design across multiple channels.
  • Build skills in layout, typography, and visual systems through hands-on project work.
  • Practice receiving and applying feedback to strengthen craft and attention to detail.
  • Gain exposure to agency workflows, file organization, production handoff, and time management.
