KnitWell Group - 202 6 Summer Internship Program Talbots Design Intern: Dresses/Skirts & Accessories/Footwear This position is responsible for assisting both Design teams in the creation of a fully concepted line for the designated end user. Prepares presentation boards highlighting fabric, flats, and figure sketches. Assists in set up of all c oncept presentations , execution of tech packs, both flat and technical sketches, pitch sheets and trim sheets. Program Details The KnitWell Group Summer Internship Program welcomes the class es of 202 6 and 202 7 college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor, Haven Well Within, LOFT, Talbots) and Corporate Shared Services to kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to wor k hands-on with their department for 10-weeks and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project . The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. This internship position will be based out of our Talbots Design office location in New York, NY. KnitWell Group does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations . Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housing in a commutable distance of the office location . Requirements

  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • An eye for trend, color, print and pattern
  • Junior or senior (Class of 202 6 and 202 7 )
  • Master's students not eligible
