About The Position

PRIME AE Group, Inc. seeks a Design Engineer II in Albany, NY. Duties: Serve as a Design Engineer on water and wastewater treatment projects. Assist with and be involved in the planning, scheduling, conducting, or coordinating of detailed phases of projects. Focus on water/wastewater project types, including water distribution and storage, booster pump stations, water treatment, wastewater collection and pump stations, and wastewater treatment, with a particular focus on water/wastewater biochemistry. Utilize knowledge of a wide range of projects, including Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting, water quality analyses and studies, regulatory compliance, water and wastewater system studies/reports, and associated design of improvements. Regularly design and develop project plans. Telecommuting is permitted. Domestic travel to local sites within 50 miles of the worksite address required up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Ecological Engineering or related.
  • 3 years of experience in Water/Wastewater Biochemistry.
  • 3 years of experience in Statistical Analysis.
  • 3 years of experience in Water and Wastewater treatment process design.
  • 3 years of experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Must have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
