About The Position

Are you looking to join an innovative engineering consulting firm with a strong gas utility team that supports clients in over 35 different industries? Entrust Solutions Group has embraced growing markets such as renewables, power engineering services, EV infrastructure, data analytics, and geospatial with cutting edge engineering, consulting, and automation services. We have a current need for a Design Engineer based in Cedar Rapids, IA or Chicago metro area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Design and Bluebeam
• Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment

Responsibilities

• Works with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages
• Supports the preparation of simple designs or small portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawings
• Leads the development of their discipline's design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple technical analyses
• Conducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic
• Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors
• Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews
• Applies technical knowledge to designs and ensures projects meet specifications
