Design Engineer I
About The Position
Are you looking to join an innovative engineering consulting firm with a strong gas utility team that supports clients in over 35 different industries? Entrust Solutions Group has embraced growing markets such as renewables, power engineering services, EV infrastructure, data analytics, and geospatial with cutting edge engineering, consulting, and automation services. As a Design Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Gas Programs team, collaborating closely with senior engineers and gaining invaluable technical guidance on underground utility design and roadway projects. You'll apply your expertise to ensure designs meet project specifications, and communicate effectively about scope, schedule, and quality challenges. You will also collaborate with designers and drafters to complete comprehensive design packages. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your engineering career and make a real impact! We are seeking candidates in the Austin, Texas area. This role offers hybrid flexibility, and we are seeking candidates based in the area who can be available for occasional site visits and in-person meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project and client visits.
Nice To Haves
- DOT, municipal, roadway, transportation, and/or utility experience.
- Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bluebeam software is a plus.
