May conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, can be manufactured, and reliable. Communicates with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion. Your tasksESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES• Prepares equipment specification drawings outlining concepts, configurations, and details for review by customer for operational, engineering, and manufacturing approval.• Coordinates project deliverables with external and internal sales teams to ensure drawings are completed on schedule according to the customer's requirements. • Interact frequently with internal and external customers throughout the design and development process. • Technical liaison of equipment, layouts, and operations for external contractors, consultants, architects, installers, and AHJ.• Performs quality control review of all deliverables as required.• May participate in the development, creation, and coordination of design criteria media, visualizations, and documentation as required through renderings, animations, elevations, sections, and isometric views• Conceptual and detail design of commercial products and equipment.• Creates complete part and assembly designs and drawings for all manufactured and purchased parts - may include prototypes and models.• Creates complete bills of material.• Responsible for creating appropriate manuals and documents.• Interacts frequently with internal and external parties as necessary.• Design and implements fixtures and tools.• Suggests changes in procedures, standards, to facilitate work and maintain quality.• May approve products for release, including maintaining all relevant data records.• May be required to travel. • Reliable attendance a must.• Other duties as assigned.RequirementsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.• Basic Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.• Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.• Intermediate Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups.• High Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. • Very High Reasoning Skills - Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
