About The Position

We are looking for a Design Drafter, located in Bartlesville, OK. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet. The role will be responsible for the creation of layouts, models, and original plots of for the HPS product line, and as designed by engineers. What you will do: Use modeling tools for layout, modeling, and detailing of mechanical equipment, dies and tools and assemblies using computer-assisted drafting equipment. Conduct reviews for complex problems and issues; reviews and analyzes specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed. Identify corrections needed to design to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems; confers with customer to review schematics and answer questions. Lead drawing quality reviews; leads and participates in design reviews. Oversee the lay out, drawing, and reproduction of illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe operation and maintenance of mechanical systems. Create and maintains Item, & Bill of Material GEMS data management system. Maintain confidentiality of all matters Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in an industrial design capacity.
  • Experience with metal fabrication techniques (CNC Machining, welding).
  • Experience with performing tolerance analysis on complex assemblies.
  • Strong knowledge of drafting procedures, GD&T, parametric 3D modeling (Creo & Windchill, 2D drafting in AutoCAD).
  • Ability to create & revise part/assembly drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma with Department of Labor Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree from an accredited program in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
