About The Position

As a Design Drafter I at PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will be responsible for performing basic drafting tasks primarily using Autodesk Inventor and occasionally AutoCAD. This entry-level position involves creating and updating engineering drawings, collaborating with the Design Drafting department, and assisting with minor design projects under the guidance of senior staff. Requirements

• Minimum of a two-year degree in Drafting or equivalent trade school experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in civil engineering or legal drafting.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic drafting using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Create and update drawings per Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Review own work and forward it to the Design Drafting Supervisor for approval.
• Maintain work via a drafting database, recording dates for assignments.
• Assist Engineering with minor design projects as instructed by Senior Designer or Drafting Supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Design Drafting Supervisor.
