About The Position

Xfinity Creative is seeking a visionary Design Director, Brand & Advertising, to drive design-focused brand initiatives and advertising campaigns, while collaborating with omni-channel team members who excel in creating industry-first campaigns and top-class executions across various touchpoints. As a design leader, you will leverage your background in advertising and experience with industry-leading technology, entertainment, and/or media brands to innovate and challenge norms. We're seeking a leader who can balance creativity with business priorities, design with long-term vision, and collaboration with strong communication.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge and ability in key design programs including Figma, and Adobe Creative suite
  • Exceptional eye for typography, illustration, photography and layout.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • A background in advertising and industry-leading technology, entertainment, and/or media brands, known for delivering world class work.
  • Minimum 10+ years of design leadership experience in advertising and technology, entertainment, and/or media brands.
  • Deep portfolio reflective of world class work and industry-leading campaigns.
  • Expressed ability to understand business priorities, conceptualize with a long-term vision, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to sell ideas internally.
  • Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of After Effects or Premiere is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency building cohesive and visually compelling presentations in PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design vision for brand identity initiatives and campaign systems, ensuring consistency and excellence across film, digital, retail, social, Out of Home (OOH), experiential, print, and packaging.
  • Direct the creative development of global campaigns that reflect Xfinity's brand design system, while introducing forward-thinking design solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary design team - including graphic and motion designers - fostering innovation, craft, and growth.
  • Partner with creative, studio, and production teams to ensure flawless execution of assets for global rollouts and media placements.
  • Develop campaign toolkits, visual guidelines, and scalable systems to empower markets worldwide while maintaining centralized brand standards.
  • Translate strategic business priorities into design concepts that inspire, persuade, and deliver measurable impact.
  • Collaborate with adjacent teams to integrate design into every campaign and brand touchpoint.
  • Champion storytelling through design - from archival inspirations and iconic brand elements to contemporary cultural relevance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative standard.
  • Take full ownership of responsibilities with a meticulous eye for detail and craft.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
