The Design Development Program Associate role at Capital One is a full-time position designed as a career accelerator for emerging talent in the design field. This two-year rotational program will commence in August 2025, where new hires will start as a cohort. The program is structured to provide hands-on experience in two distinct roles, with rotations occurring at the one-year mark. Associates will have the opportunity to either remain in their final role placement upon completion of the program or explore other opportunities within Capital One. The program emphasizes a hybrid working model, requiring in-person attendance at the assigned location within the continental United States. It is important to note that Capital One will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization or offer immigration-related support for this position. As a participant in the Design Development Program, you will work closely with a diverse team of designers, strategists, developers, product managers, and data analysts. Your role will involve advocating for the needs of over 65 million Capital One customers and contributing to human-centered design work from discovery through implementation and iteration. The program is conceived to foster the next generation of leading talent, providing a framework to develop world-class design skills and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end data, product, and service design. You will rotate to a second role the summer following your start date, allowing you to explore different roles, teams, and design projects while honing in on the career path that suits you best.
