About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Epic trainer with a strong background in Instructional Design to help elevate the learning experience for both new hires and existing staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering EpicCare Ambulatory training across multiple formats-including in-person, virtual, and e-learning. Familiarity with additional Epic modules such as Beacon, Kaleidoscope, and ASAP is highly valued. In this role, you-ll also leverage your expertise in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Learning Experience Design, and Curriculum Development. Your ability to create engaging support materials-like job aids, tip sheets, and huddle cards- will be key to driving performance and knowledge retention across the organization. We are attempting to seek a Hybrid role of an experienced EPIC trainer who also has Instructional Design Experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Education, Behavioral Science, or a directly related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in training delivery, curriculum design, and training development and evaluation, or a directly related field.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in training delivery, curriculum design, training development and evaluation, or a directly related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory.
  • Experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
  • Familiarity with Epic modules such as Beacon, Kaleidoscope, and ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Providing classroom, web-based, and one-on-one training to technical staff.
  • Leveraging advanced knowledge of products, operational workflows, and clinical work to incorporate application enhancements into each curriculum trained.
  • Verifying/training on products, processes, contents, and system updates optimization for multiple applications.
  • Providing end-user support during system and content go-lives, annual application upgrades, and monitoring ongoing improvements.
  • Preparing and guiding others on analysis of client business processes and functional application requirements.
  • Documenting the validation processes for the development and maintenance of the training environment.
  • Potentially providing problem resolution of information systems-related issues and escalating complex concerns.
  • Promoting learning in others by proactively providing and/or developing information, resources, advice, and expertise.
  • Building relationships with cross-functional/external stakeholders and customers.
  • Listening to, seeking, and addressing performance feedback.
  • Pursuing self-development and creating plans to capitalize on strengths and develop weaknesses.
