About The Position

The Design Coordinator at Crate and Barrel plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing exceptional service and product knowledge. The Design Coordinator works under the mentorship of the Assistant Store Leader and Team Leader, Sales, ensuring that customers receive an engaging shopping experience.

Requirements

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good reading, written, and verbal language skills (English).
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist.

Nice To Haves

• Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends for Full-Time roles.
• Availability to work two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night for Part-Time roles.

Responsibilities

• Maximize company sales growth and profitability through creative selling skills and customer service.
• Demonstrate company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising, and teamwork.
• Ensure full understanding of all products and maintain awareness of current information.
• Maintain sales floor coverage and follow posted schedules for area assignments.
• Maintain store counters and displays and assist with store maintenance as directed by management.
• Actively engage customers and assist with product selections, processing orders or returns.
• Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Communicate customer feedback to store management regarding policies and product requests.
• Support store sales and service goals as communicated by the Assistant Store Leader.

Benefits

• Minimum Starting Rate: $16.00 Hourly, Up to: $21.25 Hourly.
• Eligibility for bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives based on role.
