Along with competitive compensation, we offer competitive benefits that would be expected including medical/Rx, vision and dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, holiday pay, disability & life insurance, etc. Primary Purpose: Provide operational, warehouse, and sales support to the Design Center team by coordinating orders, assisting with customer selections, preparing and staging materials, and ensuring accurate, timely fulfillment of design products, including lighting, hardware, flooring, and related materials. This role supports the customer experience by keeping design operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Must meet company driving requirements and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a warehouse, design center, flooring, lighting, or hardware environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Previous customer service or sales support experience.
  • Familiarity with building materials or interior products.

Responsibilities

  • Support Design Coordinators and sales staff with customer selections, product orders, and follow-up tasks.
  • Print, organize, and maintain sales orders, selection sheets, and related documentation.
  • Provide backup coverage on the design sales floor during busy periods.
  • Assist customers with basic product questions and direct them to the appropriate Design Coordinator or sales team member.
  • Help pull samples and prepare materials for customer appointments as needed.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare lighting, hardware, and related design orders for customer pickup or delivery.
  • Assemble and verify customer orders for accuracy prior to will-call or delivery.
  • Build, stage, and assist with the delivery of orders as required.
  • Receive, check in, and stock incoming inventory following established procedures.
  • Perform stock counts and cycle counts for hardware, lighting, and design materials.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of warehouse and staging areas.
  • Assist with lock keying for housing panels and related design orders.
  • Coordinate vendor pickups or transfers when needed to meet customer timelines.
  • Ensure materials are properly staged and ready to support scheduled deliveries and customer commitments.
  • Communicate order status, delays, or issues clearly with Design Coordinators, sales staff, and leadership.
  • Support safety, quality, and operational standards at all times.
  • Provide flexible support across the Design Center warehouse and sales floor as business needs change.
  • Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and leadership teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Design Center success.
